TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The decision to carry out on water activities will be at the discretion of the Chief Instructor, taking into account both weather, tide and suitability of the students.

It will be mandatory that life jackets are worn at all times when on the water. These are available as part of the course supplied by us.  But should you prefer to bring your own, it must be in date and good working order.

No dates are fully booked until a £25 per person deposit is received. Full payment must be made at the commencement of the course.  If the start date is within 2 weeks then fully payment must be made immediately.

Sorry but a charge of 2.5% for credit cards, no charge for debit cards.

There is a zero tolerance in respect of alcohol or drugs.

The general behaviour of all students of all ages will be one of mutual respect, both in personal inter-relationships and equipment / materials supplied by the school.  Failure to comply will result in the student being asked to leave with no recompense and proceedings will take place to recover any costs to the training school.

The school will not be held responsible for students being adequately equipped to take part in any courses.  However, at the discretion of the school, certain items of clothing may be made available.

Essex Power School will not be responsible for the supervision of minors during lunch breaks or at the end of each day’s course.  Timings of these events will be given to parents at the beginning of each course.

Medical fitness to take part will be at students own volition.
