Wat Tyler Country Park where we are based is undergoing a 6.5 million pound make over, with upgraded facilities on the park such as walks and runways. Fully licensed restaurant to provide catering facilities for weddings and corporate functions. Lunch maybe taken out on the raised patio with views over the park.
The R.S.P.B. has a huge influence on the park with many hides to sit and watch the many rare species that land on the wetlands in and around the area.
A narrow gauge railway newly extended to run from the entrance to the park to the marina at the far end is run by volunteers and provides a great day out for the kids.
As well as the railway, there are many swings and roundabout areas, bouncy castle days, and re enactment days from long ago.
