We look forward to meeting you to take part in the R.Y.A. 1 day jet ski course. We have a variety of skis with differing characteristics enabling us to suit a machine to your capabilities. We have sheltered water for learning to ski, so no worries about too much wave action to start. We run Jet Ski all the year round and provide dry suits so that you stay warm and dry.

Course topics include:-

  • Safety briefing and ski orientation

  • Ready the machine with all pre launch checks

  • Safety equipment

  • Water users etiquette

  • On water skills

  • Figure of eights

  • Slalom runs

  • Pulling alongside and pulling away from other boats and jetties

  • High speed turns

  • Theory of how to read weather, charts, plot courses, tidal windows, flares and radio

Wet/dry suits are provided but we cannot guarantee they will fit like a glove (Rodney). If you can bring some footwear you do not mind getting wet that would help.

We advise to wear shorts or swimming costume under the suit. Please bring a towel and sun tan lotion and or a hat. In colder weather hat and gloves are needed. 2 pairs of socks and a track suit or similar.

We are sure you will find this course lots of fun and we very much look forward to meeting you.

On completion of the course you may apply to the RYA for the International Certificate of Competence, which means you can hire skis while abroad on holiday.

The course is available to ages 12 yrs and above. Up to the age of 16yrs the Certificate is endorsed and a responsible adult must be in attendance thereafter.

The course cost is £195 per person.
